Dr. Seunggon Jeong (PhD, UCLA, Korean Linguistics) is a Assistant Director and Lead Instructor for the Korean Flaship Program. Dr. Jeong is an experienced Korean language educator and researcher whose work explores the interactional functions of Korean grammatical elements in conversation and the intonational features associated with their pragmatic usages. He has extensive experience teaching Korean from the Novice to the Superior levels. His responsibilities for the Korean Flagship include teaching advanced courses, offering the Korean Language Clinic for Korean Flagship students, and overseeing the Flagship tutoring and domestic summer programs.
